"She Cried!"

This is the remembrance of one of our homeowners as Earl Snipes cut down a huge tree in the back of her unit at Pebble Creek Condos more than 30 years ago.

Mr Snipes is a treasured member of the Pebble Creek Community as he has interacted with so many different residents over the years (some still living here and others who have moved away). Put on your memory hats to the tune of Barbara Streisand's, "Memories" for Earl is truly a PC Institution, unlike any other.

Earl's professional eyes and hands have snipped a little, trimmed a little, given a complete haircut or a nip and a tuck as he pruned limbs. "Out of the way---Timber...r...r...r!", one yells as he has felled some big and not so big "fellows". All trees have a story to tell and, I am sure Mr Snipes has plenty to share!

Mr Snipes was born on May, 26, 1955 and raised in Chapel Hill. He is one of five children. Married to Cara, they have raised two daughters and one son and have fostered twelve children. They now have 12 grandchildren. Julius, Earl's son and grandson, LJ help Earl with the work and Mrs. Snipes helps answering phones and setting up appointments. Mr Snipes has been doing tree cutting and landscaping for about 40 years. He learned his craft by teaching himself day by day to provide for his family. What a very special and loving family!

Let's hope Mr Snipes does not contemplate retirement any time soon, but no PC'er can ever forget his warm smile and calm, reassuring manner as he preserves the wooded  beauty of Pebble Creek for generations to come!!
